Executive Assistant – Equine Industry

Lexington-based Thoroughbred Horse Farm is hiring an Executive Assistant to support leadership. This is a unique opportunity to work in the most beautiful industry and setting in the region. Functions:
-Scheduling of appointments and management of calendars
-Submitting invoices for payment, submit expenses
-Filing and creating documents
-Managing correspondence (emails, phone, letters) on behalf of the owner.
-Note taking and dictation
-Creating and editing of documents including those in Word, Powerpoint and/or Excel
-Assist with travel arrangements
-Keeping up to date contact information for the team
-Assist with event planning
-Other administrative support duties as needed including some personal assistance work for the owner’s family (80% Executive Assistant work, 20% Personal Assistant work)

Qualifications
-High School diploma or GED required, some college preferred
-Must have at least 2 years prior experience as an executive assistant supporting leadership/ownership of a company
-Flexibility – able to roll with changes
-Not easily stressed – lets things roll off back
-Discrete and confidential
-Professional and courteous – well-spoken when dealing with high level individuals
-Good computer skills
-Good grammar and communication skills
-Organized with good follow-up skills
